Here are a few easy things that you can do today to rejuvenate your body, to feel better tomorrow!
1. Sleep more – most of us need 8-10 hours of sleep every night, and haven’t had it in years. During a good night's sleep your body has a chance to rest and rejuvenate. If we do not sleep enough – we age faster!
2. Eat less – keep every one of your meals, but cut the amount in half. When our body digests food, by-products are harmful agents that cause oxidative damage in our system. If we eat less food – we generate less damaging free radicals, and body can do less damage-repair, and more rebuilding and rejuvenating.
3. Have fun – find activities, hobbies, passions that make you feel happy, and that make you laugh a lot – and indulge in it! Remember how much fun you had when you were young? Life is short – enjoy it!
4. Drink more – but I only mean water :-) Plain water, mineral water, flavored water all count! We should be drinking up to 8 x 8oz water glasses every day – we do not come even close! Our body needs water to properly function, and to properly flush out waste products and toxins generated on a daily basis!
